‘Supernatural’ News: Felicia Day To Guest Star Next Month!

Felicia Day has received plenty of great credit in the nerd community. The actress has been in Whedonverse series Buffy The Vampire SlayerDr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, and Dollhouse, while also helming her own series The Guild and mini-seriesDragon Age: Redemption. With an avid fanbase, it only seems fitting that she bring a bit of nerdom to a series that has a loyal fanbase of its own: Supernatural.

TV Guide reports that Sera Gamble has revealed Day will guest star in the April 27th episode titled “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo”. She’ll be playing the aforementioned ‘Girl’ as she plays a girl behind a computer that actually end up helping the Winchesters, despite where she’s employed.

“Felicia plays a girl named Charlie who is sort of a lowly tech working in one of Dick Roman’s companies,” says Gamble. “She’s an amateur computer hacker and unwittingly gets wrapped up in Sam and Dean’s problems. It’s a classic story of an everyday girl who does not want to be in a whistleblower position.”

It sounds like Day may play a vital role in Dean’s quest to take down Dick Roman. The elder Winchester has been obsessed with taking down the villain, to say the least, once his face prevented a bit of a challenge, but mostly since his itchy trigger finger landed a bullet that eventually killed Bobby. However, whether or not the drunken surrogate father moved on or perished with his mind is still a recurring element that remains mysterious.

Supernatural returns with new episodes tomorrow night in its usual timeslot Fridays at 9PM on The CW.
