First look at some Whedon Veterans in Much Ado About Nothing or Oh how i love how Joss Whedon loves his actors and how his actors love him back

This little tiny precious low-budget piece is going to be maybe even more orgasmic than the 10th Anniversary Firefly Reunion this past Comic-Con. Buffy, Angel, Firefly, The Avengers, The Cabin in the Woods, all come together for Shakespeare re-told.

And if you don’t know what I’m talking about, just turn around, leave, may you not be seen, may the wrath of The First cause you so much fear that you decide to skip mountain lake horror vacations to fly away in some insect-shaped spaceship. Vampires, Reavers and all the monsters you can imagine will hunt you down and no Slayer will save you!

The Full Cast and where they’ve been:

Amy Acker as Beatrice (Angel, Dollhouse, The Cabin in the Woods)

Bringing along his Avengers star Clark Gregg and The Cabin in the Woods female lead Amy Acker, along with frequent collaborator Nathan Fillion, Whedon shot the micro-budget film in just 12 days. He previously said this is a “love letter, to the text, to the cast, even to the house it’s shot in. All [involved are] dedicated to the idea that this story bears retelling, that this dialogue is as fresh and intoxicating as any being written, and that the joy of working on a passion project surrounded by dear friends, admired colleagues and an atmosphere of unabashed rapture far outweighs their hilariously miniature paychecks.” Check out the stills above and below for the film premiering at Toronto International Film Festival and also starring Alexis Denisof, Fran Kranz, Jillian Morgese, Sean Maher and Reed Diamond. I understand I went a little overboard here, no need to point anything out.
