With horror composer Tyler Bates, who has a pretty impressive curriculum having worked with Rob Zombie on Halloween, Halloween II, The Devil’s Rejects and Zack Snyder on Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, and Sucker Punch.

The song in question is  titled ‘Cupid Carries a Gun‘ and was being written for Manson’s next album, given the proclivity for the macabre it seemed like a perfect fit.

All the love one can have for Marilyn Manson, one who has a bit of a musical ear and TV addiction or knowledge might feel a tingling sensation of déjà-heard.. it’s only the opening credits of the most watched miniseries of the year:  True Detective.
