Freedom = accept you’re kinda different, And it matters. But at the same time it really doesn’t. As long as you’re kind, kinda happy, kinda healthy, kinda ok π π I n f o me-mercial time!! Swipe, swipe, we’ve all seen and shared @nourishednatasha ‘s acceptance and inclusion posts πβ€οΈ I’ve personally experienced that all the yogis I follow who shared those posts really put their actions where their shares are (@geeoice_yoga, @stresslessyas @yogi_shazzbam @themistressfitness πππ) What I don’t see is diversity in the simple ol’ #yoga hash. So I thought, why do I have to specify that I’m diverse, fat, that I can’t do some asanas because I’m sick, that I advocate for accessible yoga if “plain” yoga is for ALL? So I’m asking you, my super selection of amazing yogis I follow, would you gimme a like? A shout out? A tag of someone you know might be interested because they don’t fit the ig standard? As I embark in this poissibly weird challenge to make more people feel more ‘β¨yeah it’s me peaches!! πͺ’ I know they are out there, I know they don’t practice or participate in challenges because *all the yogis are skinny, or super stretchy, because that light is amazing and I only have my phone* π I know there is a world out there with much bigger problems in it, but my experience has always been that change and hope, and strength can start here πβ€οΈπ Thank you for reading π
